Yaoundé, November 10, 2025- Enovation Factory, an incubator and accelerator for innovative startups in Cameroon, officially announces the launch of the “Scale 32” initiative in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP Cameroon). This 14-month Programme aims to transform Cameroon’s entrepreneurial ecosystem sustainably by supporting 32 technology startups.
For the past year, Enovation Factory has been strengthening technological entrepreneurship in Cameroon through coaching, training, mentorship, and networking for carefully selected startups. Building on this experience, the organisation is now joining forces with UNDP Cameroon to implement a national Programme designed to tackle the main challenges faced by young companies, including limited access to finance, lack of managerial skills, poor understanding of regulatory frameworks, and weak connections with investors.
The Scale 32 initiative will unfold in two distinct phases. The first cohort will run from January to June 2026, followed by a second cohort from June to December 2026. Each group will benefit from an intensive six-month Programme tailored to their level of maturity.
The Programme builds on Enovation Factory’s proven models:
Beneficiaries will receive comprehensive support, including specialised training, mentorship, dedicated workspaces, and connections with experts, institutional partners, and investors.
Starting in November 2025, Cameroonian startups operating in technology, agritech, healthtech, fintech, edtech, green economy, and other innovative sectors will be invited to apply. The initiative places a strong emphasis on inclusion by encouraging applications from young entrepreneurs, women, mixed teams, and project leaders from underrepresented regions.
Selection will be based on relevance, innovation, commitment, scalability, and social, economic, and environmental impact, assessed by a technical committee and an independent jury.
Beyond individual support, Scale 32 aims to sustainably boost the competitiveness of Cameroon’s ecosystem through job creation, improved startup governance, and higher survival and growth rates.
The initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
This partnership illustrates the synergy between private-sector innovation efforts and UNDP’s commitment to inclusive and sustainable development. Together, Enovation Factory and UNDP Cameroon reaffirm their determination to make innovative entrepreneurship a driver of economic diversification and opportunity creation for Cameroonians.
After six months of intensive support, each startup will join Enovation Factory’s Alumni Programme, which guarantees 12 months of post-Programme follow-up. This includes continued access to the network, funding opportunities, and ecosystem events to ensure long-term success.
